A heating cooker is provided, in which the strength of top plate is enhanced and the frame body covering the circumference of the top plate is miniaturized to restrain the height protruding from the upper plate of the kitchen unit. A food is heated by the heating cooker through the cooking container placed on the top plate 22. A stiffened plate 23 is adhered at the bottom of the circumference of the top plate 22. The stiffened plate 23 is connected and fixed to the inner case 14 of the frame body 12. Another frame body 24 is adhered at the upper surface of the outer circumference of the top plate 22 to cover the end part of the top plate 22.
