DISPLAY DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same with which a display panel and a semiconductor device are press-contacted via an anisotropic conductor film without the occurrence of an exposed part of a wiring line.

SOLUTION: In the display apparatus, the semiconductor device having a solder resist layer is crimped to the display panel via the anisotropic conductor film. The solder resist layer has a ramp section in an edge section to which solder resist coating thickness is continuously decreased and the anisotropic conductor film inserted between the display panel and the semiconductor device is crimped to the ramp section in the solder resist layer without any gap.
