Described is a mechanism comprising a mechanical piece for bending specific portions of fiber optic and inducing intracavity losses into a laser device provided that the system pertains to a laser or amplifier complete system. The present device is shown in two images:(i) machined screws having predetermined diameters, which are fastened by a post-carrier, thereby being attached to a holographic or optic table; (ii) a malleable aluminum sheet which is reduced down to a predetermined diameter and subsequently fixed by a totally mechanic mechanism. The fiber to be examined is rewound as needed. The device calculations are valid only for fibers with a stepped index, and compliant with formula (1).
