摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a large-sized liquid crystal display device which makes it possible to obtain high-quality images free from a change in color tone with one sheet of substrate by adopting a structure obtd. by completely coating copper with an aluminum alloy for scanning signal wires and forming an aluminum oxide layer on the surface of the aluminum alloy in the parts where these wires intersect with video signal wirings. SOLUTION: The scanning signal wirings constituting thin-film transistors(TFTs) consist of the structure obtd. by coating the copper alloy 3 with the aluminum alloy 9 in order to lower the wiring resistance. The aluminum oxidized film 10 is formed on the surface of the aluminum alloy 9 by an anodic oxidation treatment or high-temp. steam oxidation treatment. Since the aluminum alloy 9 having the adhesive power to a glass substrate 1 coats the copper alloy 3, copper peeling does not arise. The copper alloy 3 is clad with the aluminum alloy 9 and is formed with the oxidized film 10 on its surface, the oxidation of the copper alloy 3 does not arise. Even dust is picked up on the scanning signal wirings, the occurrence of shorting is averted by the presence of the aluminum oxidized film 10 and the yield is greatly improved.</p>
