In the present invention, there is described an apparatus for heat treatment of waste matters having a grate (10) formed by cooled grate blocks (16, 18) and on a surface of which grate the waste materials lie for the thermal treatment, whereby a portion of the grate blocks (16, 18) is movable mounted between an initial position and a lifted position for continuous feed of the burnt material along the grate (10) surface. At the same time, the grate (10) has gas passages and at least one primary-air passage separate from the gas passages; and a gas supply connected to the gas passages so as to supply gas to the grate (10) surface. The gas supply has at least one oxygen feed system (S) with discharge openings (72) arranged at end faces in the cooled grate blocks (16, 18) so that oxygen and primary air are isolated from one another and supplied separately to the grate (10) surface. Described is also a grate block (16, 18) intended for the apparatus according to the invention having at least one tube passage (44). In the passage (44), there is mounted at least one nozzle (66, 74) having an outlet hole (72) for oxygen being supplied thereto. |
