Decoupling element to be interposed between a piston and a friction element of a disc brake

The decoupling unit (34) has lugs (38, 40) intended to penetrate in cavities (42, 44) of a support plate (16) of a friction plate (12) and orifices (46, 48) of a damping unit (32). The unit (34) is interposed between a nose of a piston and the damping unit to slide the nose on the damping unit with respect to the friction plate. The lugs are folded at right angle and have dimension equal to that of the cavities. An independent claim is also included for a disk brake comprising friction units with decoupling units.
