<p>Photographic composition (un)coated on a support which comprises an aqueous soln. of gelatin containing 1-50% (based on mass of gelatin) of a water-insoluble edible microcrystalline bovine collagen salt (I) with the following characteristics: 14% N2; 14.5% H2O, 0.4% wither extract, ash content 0.1%, water of equilibrium (in atmosphere of 58% humidity at 70 degrees C) 20% white/cream colour, the electrokinetic potential, Brookfield viscosity (0.5% soln. at .25 degrees C) 9.000 mll. The composition contains 2-20% gelatine and a photosensitive Ag halide dispersion. The pref. (I) is "Avitene c" (RTM). The composition is coated onto a support, cooled set and dried.</p> |
