<p>The invention discloses a manufacturing method of glass blank, wherein a standard mass of melting glass block is separated from the melting glass which is flowing out of the outlet of an outflow pipe, the glass block is blowed and therefore floated, and at the same time the glass block is formed into a required glass blank. The method is characterized by the following procedures are carried out within a sealed space filled with dry gases: receiving and supporting the front end of the melting glass flow through the melting glass support body which is provided under the said outflow pipe, and then removing the support of the said melting glass support body, and separating the melting glass block from the front end of the melting glass flow. Furthermore, the invention also discloses an optical element which is formed through precision pressing the blank manufactured by the aforesaid method.</p> |
