Driving gear for elevator

The driving gear has a drive module (11) and a returning module (19) having an extension (18) which are connected together. The drive module and the returning module are provided with interfaces (15) which together form the extension. The load carried by the elevator determines the distance for the driving gear and the module. A controller controls the driving power transmission of the driver providing a correct of a drive belt.
