<p>Cyanoalkylamino-s-triazines X = hal-, alkoxy-, alkylmercapto-, N3- or NR'R2- R',R2 = same or different H or straight or branched alkyl or alkenyl opt. substd. by -OH, -OR3, -SR3, CN, or halogen R3 = alkyl- R = straight or branched alkyl-, alkenyl-, aralkyl-, cycloalkyl- which may be subst. by R', R2 e.g. 2-ethylamino-4-(a-cyano)ethylamino-6-chloros-triazine. Herbicides. Reaction of cyanuric chloride with an a-amino-nitrile of general formula:- R-CHNH2-CN in the presence of NaOH followed by treatment with ammonia or an amine NHR'R2 in the presence of NaOH.</p> |
