A stabilizer of a drawing die includes a punch, a blank holder, and a die facing the punch. A thin plate mounted on the blank holder is pinched between the blank holder and the die by moving the die downward, a plurality of boxes around the blank holder can be freely moved upward and downward. A buffer gas spring is interposed between the boxes and the blank holder to form a run-up gap between the boxes and the blank holder. A run-up lever runs up the blank holder before the die comes into collision with the thin plate. A driver driving the run-up lever is arranged to face the run-up lever of the die, whereby the die comes into collision with the thin plate on the blank holder after the blank holder runs up.
