A method for producing biological reagent for gold mining from ores or products of enrichment thereof involves alkaline hydrolysis of protein-containing raw material, mainly of food industry waste and subsequent division of the hydrolyzate into dense and liquid phases..The alkaline hydrolysis of protein-containing raw material is performed for 10-15 hours by 10-20 % solution of caustic soda at a ratio of leaching-out solution to the protein-containing raw material of 1:1 at the temperature of 70-85 DEGREE C. The dense phase is withdrawn from hydrolyzate, and the liquid one is concentrated by evaporation to the paste-like state or dried.
