The proposed device for testing worm shafts contains measuring indicators. The detecting element of each indicator is arranged perpendicular to the working surface of the worm screw and is installed on the fixed base member at a defined angle. The control of the quality of the working surface of the worm screw is accomplished when the worm shaft rotates.
