The method for correcting the corneal astigmatism in the surgical treatment of glaucoma combined with the cataract comprises the deep non-perforating sclerectomy in the upper segment of the eye and phacoemulsification of the cataract through the corneal incision. In the case of the initial corneal astigmatism of the reverse type within 0.5-1.5 D, phacoemulsification is performed through the lateral corneal incision.
