The proposed thermal drive with position fixation contains a rod, force-generating elements with spherical surfaces, which are installed at the rod, and two sleeves, which are arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rod. The force-generating element is made of material with shape memory effect. In each sleeve, a spring-loaded ball, which is in contact with the spherical surface of the corresponding force-generating element, and a screw for adjusting the spring force are installed. In the force-generating element, a disk-shaped electric heater is installed.
