A method of obtaining a feed additive provides for binding copper and zinc inorganic salts with aminoacids, in particular with methionine, glycine and lysine in a ratio of element/aminoacid of 1:2 in aqueous solution at a temperature of 60 DEGREE C and pH 3.5 with the following precipitation of the complex salt with 10 M NaOH.
