<p>A powder coating composition (I) consisting of an extruded and ground mixture of binding agents and pigments as well as optionally fillers, additives and cross-linking agents, is characterized in that the pigment at least partially comprises a surface modified effect pigment that is coated with a low molecular weight polyethylene or polypropylene. An Independent claim is included for a process for the production of the powder coating composition (I) by homogeneously mixing the components in a melt extruder, cooling the extrudate and grinding.</p> |
