A device for transporting and cleaning roots and tubers consists of an inclined delivery rod conveyer, mounted on the main frame, above which a heap spreader, drive reflecting and cleaning brushes and a diversion conveyer are mounted. Behind the delivery conveyer an inclined cleaning unit is arranged which consists of pairs of cylindrical cleaning rollers, having opposition rotary movement, connected with the main frame by resilient elements, above which a drive activator, formed by S-like blades, are mounted as consoles on the surface of which cleaning elements as elastic rods directed to the unit of cleaning rollers are fixed.
