A magazine (5) in which a cartridge (6) loaded with connected staples is supported inside a support frame (4) so as to movable in the direction to a clincher portion (3). On a side face of the magazine (5) is projected a cam follower (17). The cam follower (17) is engaged with a cam groove (21) formed in a drive rotation member (9) for driving a staple drive mechanism (8) disposed on the support frame (4). As a result, the magazine (5) is directly driven by the drive rotation member (9) in the direction of the clincher portion (3).
