FIELD: mechanical engineering; supports of shafts and axles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed thrust bearing with taper rollers and floating side contains support races with working surfaces installed in turn on shaft and in housing, and taper rollers installed between races. Cones of working surfaces of races and vertices of cones of rollers meet in one point on axis of bearing. Support races have no flanges over outer diameter of bearing, and floating race engages with outer end faces of taper roller bearings. Surface of mating of inner surface of floating race and other end face of taper roller form sliding bearing. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life of thrust bearing with taper rollers owing to uniform distribution of load between taper rollers. ^ 5 cl, 1 dwg |
