<p>Medicament consisting of glucosamine or a deriv. thereof together with a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle has hypeglobulinising, antisteatosic and anorexic activity. Pref. deriv. is a mineral or organic acid salt of glucosamine, esp. glucosamine chlorohydrate, or an acyl deriv. esp. acetyl glucosamine. Compn, which may be administered orally or parenterally, may also contain a liptropic agent, pref. betaine, methionine or choline.</p> |
