The preparation of a material with photocatalytic properties of at least partially crystallised titanium oxide, notably in the form of anatase, is carried out at temperatures in excess of 600[deg]C. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a sheet of glass with at least one surface coated with the above material; and (b) a monolithic, laminated, simple or multiple glazing incorporating this glass sheet.
