<p>The device has modules (18, 20) to calculate energy of input and output signals of an adaptive filter. A calculation module (22) analyzes the energy to detect increase in the output signal energy and calculates ratio between the signals for comparing it with a threshold value relating to filter divergence. A counter/decounter is incremented and decremented based on the comparison result to compare counter value with another threshold. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) utilization of an adaptive filter divergence detection device (B) a method of detection of divergence of an adaptive system.</p> |
