Cold-forming steel vessels from rod sections

Device comprises a matrix which determines the outer dimensions of the vessel. The inner vessel diameter is determined by a pin. In the cavity between the latter and the matrix is an axially movable ring which closely fits to the matrix and the pin. Pref. the ring is fixed to guide rods.
