The present invention is concerned with a simulation of voltages and currents of high or medium voltage switchyards and substations. It provides consistent and actual voltages and currents at the locations of the voltage and current transformers in the switchyard, and allows to update the former following any operational change such as the opening or closing of a switch. Voltage message and current messages are initialized with starting values of voltage or current distribution variables and routed along the paths of the topology according to certain rules. |
