FIELD: foundry, possibly manufacture of wire and rods in rotor crystallizers. ^ SUBSTANCE: melt metal supply unit to rotor crystallizer includes casting block 1, endless belt 2, supply cooled trough 3 and pressure roller 8. Touching point of end edge of trough 3 and of casting block is shifted from its vertical axis by angle alpha = 3 - 7° to side opposite relative to its rotation direction. Invention provides lowered forces acting for tearing off ingot skin from trough. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of cast wire and rods. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
