<p>The method involves coating two through holes (7, 7`) of a workpiece at respective inner surfaces (8, 8`). A single pole electrode (19) is used for the through holes. The workpiece with the two through holes represents an opposed pole electrode within the electrolytic process. The pole electrode exhibits projections for processing the through holes, where the projections extend into the through holes. An independent claim is also included for a workpiece having a through hole.</p>
