Device for measuring surface properties of optical media stampers comprising a turntable for rotating the stamper, the measuring device comprising at least one light source (1, 1') for emitting a light beam, which is directed onto a surface of the stamper (10), stray light detector means (9, 9') for detecting stray light, which is reflected from the stamper (10) surface under angles differing from the direct reflexion angle of the incident light beam.
