The apparatus has a pivot assembly in which ball bearings (2) are mated with both ends of a shaft. An inner wall part is at an outer circumference of the ball bearings and is mated with a sleeve (3) disposed between both the ball bearings. The sleeve is fixed by laser welding to the outer rings (22) of the ball bearings. A groove is formed that reaches up to the vicinity of the outer circumference of the outer ring. |
