FIELD: heat-exchanging equipment, particularly adapted for air conditioning and venting systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: plate-type heat exchanger comprises a set of releasably connected corrugated heat-exchanging plates provided with sealing members in-between. The heat-exchanging plates define working channels. Heat-exchanger also has headers, coupling members made as pins and manifolds to supply and discharge working fluids. Heat-exchanging plates are formed of plastic material and have peripheral straight parts not intersected with corrugations, as well as inlet and outlet distribution parts with corrugations having varying pitch. Corrugation pitch increases with the distance from side sealing member towards heat-exchanging plate center. The coupling pins are flat and made of pliant material. The coupling pins are provided with fastening orifices arranged in staggered order at pin ends. ^ EFFECT: increased heat-exchange efficiency, reduced mass and dimensions, improved economy and manufacturability. ^ 26 dwg |
