A support sustains a core in a rotary fashion about the core's axis of rotation to wind a non-reusable plastic film (2) exiting a tunnel (3) about the core. The core is made of at least two independent portions which are mutually separable to allow the core to be freed from the grip of the film, and which are capable of being rejoined to reconstitute the core and accept the winding of the successive film.
