Connector and mating connector

The connector has sliding sleeve (11) encompassing clamping sleeve in a work position and exerts force that is directed radially inwards in the position. Force induced from the sleeve (11) in the position to the clamping sleeve is redirected in axial force component which is introduced directly by the clamping sleeve into a clamping surface. A radial force component is introduced directly into a compensation surface of a mating plug.
