The fail-safe security system for railways is for the static detection of the presence of train positions in track sections (B1,B2) without leaving them in isolation, whereby overlapping tone-frequent track current extents are applied with different frequencies (f1,f2), which on opposite sides of the source, affect at least sections, being beforehand short-circuited by a frequency-dependent impedance (Zfo). In this way, the electrical alternating voltage between the rail (V) at each position within the track section ensures an overall adequately high level at least of 10 volts. As a result, a light oxydation of the rails and wheels of a train presents no problem in current conduction.
|
