The device has a knife with a spiral shaped rotary cutting disk (7) to cut vegetable into slices, and conveyors (18, 19) for transporting and guiding the vegetable, respectively. The knife is continuously soaked, on its sides, with water osmosed at a temperature between 1 to 4[deg] Celsius. The vegetable is blocked during cutting by a stopper support (20) and the speed of the conveyors is controlled based on cutting speed of the disk. |
