A herbal composition in tablet or tea form containing dried and optionally pulverized herbs, seeds, bark or roots consists of a combination of (a) Momordica charantia (bitter melon); and (b) Cinnamomium species, especially Cinnamomium ceylanicum and optionally also conventional pharmaceutical additives.
