DISCHARGE CHUTE CONTROL SYSTEM

A motor driven discharge chute control system for automatically controlling the lateral position of a concrete discharge chute (24) associated with a transit mixer vehicle (10) is disclosed including a reversing motor (144) connected to an output gear (158) normally engaged to rotate with the motor (144) through a gear reducer (64). A rotating chute swing gear (74) is drive n by the output gear (158) rotates a connected pivot assembly (50) that carrie s one end of a discharge chute. A manual override system (71, 72) is also provided.
