<p>A method for a mobile terminal hand-off from wireless local area network to CDMA2000 1X system. When mobile terminal detected the signal of the wireless local area network becoming weak, determine to hand-off to CDMA2000 1X system, firstly, initiating a call to CDMA2000 1X system, when the base station allow to access, the packet controlling function node establish the R-P connection with packet data service Node; the packet data service node establish the data transmission channel to CDMA2000 1X for the terminal; the data transmission between the terminal and the packet data service node perform through the packet controlling function node, and at the same time the data packet service node disconnect the R-P connection between the packet data service node and the wireless access point gateway, which being established in the wireless local area network by the terminal. The invention adopt the method of establishing a new link at first, then disconnecting the original link, and remain the packet data service node not change, therefore implement the seamless hand-off between the CDMA2000 1X and the wireless local area network, and remain a continuous data transmission.</p> |
