The adapter has a sheath (5) disposed in a hollow body (4) enclosing a portion of a screw type mechanical transmission unit (8). The unit (8) is placed between an object and an electrical antitheft object detector (2), and has a fixing end (83) exiting from the body. The sheath supports on a driving unit (82) to drive the unit (8) towards the detector. A spring type elastic unit (7) pushes the sheath in the direction of the detector.
