<p>The invention relates to a novel method of synthesising phenolic amino acids from industrial products with a high degree of purity and a good yield, which can be used to obtain chelates of metals such as iron, for subsequent use in agriculture as a micronutrient fertiliser. The inventive method comprises a three-step synthesis including: formation of an amino acid by reacting phenol, which may or may not be substituted at the aromatic ring, with NaOH, glyoxylic acid and monoacetyl ethylenediamine; acid hydrolysis of the amino acid obtained; and formation of the phenolic amino acid by reaction with phenol, NaOH and glyoxylic acid.</p> |
