A coupling device (100) for electrically coupling electrode terminals (3, 4) of a film covered battery (1) is provided with a sandwiching member (20) having a first member (21) and a second member (22), and a pressing member (30). The pressing member (30) presses the electrode terminal (3) for a positive electrode and the electrode terminal (4) for a negative electrode in the film covered battery (1) in a direction where the terminals are permitted to press-contact with each other. The terminals are sandwiched by sandwiching planes (21a, 22a) of the sandwiching member (20) by being overlapped with each other.
