<p>An assembly apparatus and method. Work pieces (15) to be handled within the apparatus are arranged to be transferred on a pallet (1, 1', 1''). The pallet (1, 1', 1'') is provided with spaces for one or more work pieces (15). The apparatus further comprises transfer means for transferring the pallets (1, 1', 1'') within the apparatus. In at least one transfer phase, the pallet (1, 1', 1'') is arranged on an auxiliary pallet (4, 4a, 4b, 4c) comprising a pallet-receiving surface (7) onto which the pallet (1, 1', 1'') is arrangeable. The pallet (1, 1', 1'') is arranged to be transferred by means of the auxiliary pallet (4, 4a, 4b, 4c) in said at least one transfer phase.</p> |
