<p>A chuck device capable of eliminating the need of a bearing for transmitting the driving of a drive body, suitable for high accuracy working and high speed rotation, and formed in a simple structure. The chuck device mounted on a material working machine and holding a material to be worked comprises a device body (101), a hollow rotating body (103) rotatably supported on the device body (101), a chuck (105) installed in the through hole (103b) of the rotating body (103) so as to be advanced and retreated and rotating together with the rotating body, chuck opening/closing means (103a) and (105a) formed in the rotating body (103) and opening and closing the chuck (105) by the advancing/retreating movements of the chuck (105), a draw bar (106) installed in the through hole (103b) of the rotating body (103) and advancing and retreating the chuck (105), drive means (107) and (112) formed in the rotating body (103) and advancing and retreating the draw bar (106), and driving transmission means (107a), (106a), and (108) transmitting the driving of the drive means to the draw bar (106) to advance and retreat the draw bar.</p> |
