<p>A photomultiplier tube provided with a structure for ensuring a specified withstand voltage, and a radiation detector provided with this photomultiplier tube. The photomultiplier tube (1) is provided with a sealed container (8) comprising hollow trunks (2, 7), a light receiving plate (3) and a stem (5), and an electrode laminate (50) comprising, sequentially from the light receiving plate (3) to the stem (5), a photo-cathode (4), and a plurality of steps of dynodes (10) and anodes (12) is installed in the container (8). The stem (5) is surrounded on the side surface thereof by parts of the hollow trunks (2, 7), and supports a plurality of stem pins (6, 13) connected respectively to the dynodes (10) and the anodes (12). The electrode laminate (50) is placed on a plurality of supporting protrusions (60) provided on a surface facing the light receiving plate of the stem (5).</p> |
