The self supporting globular building frame has an outer frame defining an interior volume. The frame is formed from multiple rods which are connected together by nodes (KE) to define a self supporting structure. The rods (ST) and nodes can be connected without tools and the rods can be released without damage. The rods can define regular polyhedra. The polyhedra can be icosahedra, using sixty nodes and ninety rods.
