The system has a pressure control valve (12) upstream of an oil separator (10) and controlling pressure in a crank case (4) to a desired value below an ambient pressure. An arrangement of the valve and separator is by-passed by a bypass pipeline (16). A bypass-valve (18) is attached in the pipeline, where the valve (18) opens during unallowable high pressure in the case and produces a direct connection to an intake system (24).
