<p>The name space of a document written in a markup language is specified. A name space detecting section (310) reads an XML document to be processed and detects a line where a name space is written. If the correct name space cannot be identified, a name space identifying section (312) searches for and identify the name space while inquiring of a name space information storage section (316). A name space display section (314) displays the identified name space or name space candidates. If the name space candidates are displayed, the user can select one of them. In the name space information storage section (316), extension of XML documents used as keys for deriving the name space, character strings such as tag names written in documents and information on the correspondence relation with the name space.</p> |
