The invention relates to a device for mounting an antenna, in particular a roof antenna ( 1 ), on a vehicle body and for coupling cables ( 12 ) with the roof antenna ( 1 ), having a base plate ( 2 ) outside the body connected with the roof antenna ( 1 ) and with a hole ( 7 ) in the vehicle body, whereby according to the invention the ends of the cables ( 12 ) are provided with plugs ( 6 ) and/or sockets ( 11 ), these plugs ( 6 ) and/or sockets ( 11 ) are mounted or formed on a connector mount ( 10 ), that the base plate ( 2 ) is provided with sockets ( 11 ) and/or plugs ( 6 ) for the connector mount that are themselves connected with electrical or electronic components of the roof antenna ( 1 ) so that the connector mount ( 10 ) is connectable before, during, or after mounting of the antenna with the complementary antenna plugs ( 6 ) and/or sockets ( 11 ).
