A disposable wearing article comprises a holder having a front waist region, rear waist regions, and crotch region; and bodily discharge receiving mechanism detachably held by the holder. The crotch region is in a transversely middle zone with a through-hole extending between the inner and outer surfaces. The receiving mechanism comprises an annular portion to be detachably inserted from a side of the outer surface into the through-hole. A disposable wearing article having a front waist region (6), rear waist region (7) and a crotch region extending between the waist regions, each having an inner surface facing a wearer's body and an outer surface facing away from the wearer's body, and the crotch region being formed in a transversely middle zone on the inner surface with a protrusion surrounding an anus and/or urethral of the wearer, comprises a holder (5) having a front waist region, rear waste regions, and crotch region; and bodily discharge receiving mechanism detachably held by the holder. The crotch region is in a transversely middle zone with a through-hole extending between the inner and outer surfaces. The receiving mechanism comprises an annular portion to be detachably inserted from a side of the outer surface into the through-hole to form the protrusion and a bursiform portion lying at a side of the outer surface of the holder and joined to an outer periphery of the annular portion so that bodily discharges flow through the annular portion into the bursiform portion and receiving mechanism is held by the holder by detachably joining the receiving mechanism to the holder around the through-hole. |
