The tool arm is variable in its length and has at least two arm sections (20,22) which are movable in relation to one another in the longitudinal direction and are under a constant and reciprocal tension acting in the direction of an extension of the tool arm. The tool arm has at least one compression or extension spring (24) spreading the arm sections in relation to one another.
