Heat-insulated transport container comprises a double-walled body having a shape-stable inner container (5) and a shape-stable outer shell (6) held by a peripheral rectangular profile (1). The insulating material consists of vacuum insulating panels (4) with a protective layer of impact-resistant heat-insulating material in the form of panels inserted between the vacuum insulating panels and the outer shell. An angular frame (2) is detachedly arranged on the outer shell to fix the rectangular profile and the inner container vertically in the transport container. Preferred Features: The protective layer consists of heat-insulating rectangular profiles which are arranged so that heat bridges of the vacuum insulating panels are covered. The inner container has bars (20, 21) lying over each other on its upper end to hold the peripheral heat insulating rectangular profile.
